As Bear anxiously tends to Anya, her fever worsens and Ray orders Bear back to work but promises antibiotics.

Meanwhile, Ray charms Laurel at Mulberry, until Celia's call interrupts their intimacy.

Returning to the farm, Ray, overcome with guilt at Anya's worsening state and the news she has a daughter, allows Bear to stay with her as she drifts in and out of consciousness.

The next day, Anya’s condition worsens as Bear vows to look after her.
