Robbie Williams to Reunite with Take That and Guest Judge Let It Shine

BBC One are pulling out all the stops for the Let It Shine final as Robbie Williams will guest judge and perform with his former Take That bandmates.

Robbie will reunite with Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald for the Let It Shine live final on BBC One as the band will take to the stage for a very special performance of one of their biggest hits.

The final which airs on Saturday 25th February will also see Robbie take the role of guest judge alongside Gary, Dannii Minogue and Martin Kemp, following in the footsteps of Amber Riley, Lulu and Ricki Lake who have all appeared as guest judges throughout the series as well as Ashley Roberts who will be this weekend’s guest judge for the semi-final.

In the final, the public will decide which band will be crowned the winners of Let It Shine.

Robbie knows a thing or two about being in a band, having had six number one singles and three number one albums with Take That.

Not forgetting the hugely successful solo artist he’s become, selling over 70 million records worldwide and becoming the bestselling British solo artist in the UK and most recently scored his twelfth number one solo album with The Heavy Entertainment Show.

Speaking about appearing on Let It Shine, Robbie said "I’m looking forward to being back with Gary, Mark and Howard on Let It Shine and am excited to be a guest judge for the very special final."

The Let It Shine boys have made it through the audition stages, collaborated with the UK’s biggest stars and performed together as bands but now, only one band can win the prize of touring in a West End musical featuring the songs of Take That.

In the final, the three bands remaining will each perform twice in front of the judges but it’s the viewers at home they will need to impress as they ultimately decide the winners.

Let It Shine continues Saturday night at 6:55pm on BBC One
