Robert Popper's new comedy Marbles is coming to Netflix

At this year's Edinburgh Television Festival, Netflix announced Marbles, a new multi-generational comedy from Friday Night Dinner creator Robert Popper, about a couple raising ridiculously lively young boys, while caring for ridiculously difficult ageing parents, and coping with the craziness of life in the middle.

Marbles stars Robert Webb, Timothy Spall, Denise Welch, Alexandra Roach and Louise Brealey.

How do you stop your kids from hiding your keys in a bowl of milk, or sleeping in a cardboard box, while convincing your seventy-five-year-old father to move out of your bloody house?

For Sam and Samantha, this is their life. It’s a glorious mess. And it’s about to get messier..

Marbles promises to be a brilliantly observed, laugh-out-loud comedy about being squeezed from both ends of life, and slowly losing your marbles in the middle.

Made by Big Talk Studios and Popper Pictures, Marbles will be executive produced by Kenton Allen, Caroline Leddy and Robert Popper.
