Calling at the flat, Ryan finds Bethany looking tired and pale, but making out she’s hungover, she rushes to the bathroom to be sick.

Having spotted the folic acid pills in Bethany’s bag, Ryan asks her if she’s pregnant, and she tells him that her pregnancy is the result of a one-night stand.

Later, a supportive Ryan assures her she’ll be a great mum, and when Bethany admits she’s feeling nauseous, he steers her home and makes her something to eat. Bethany’s touched, and Ryan assures her he’s glad to help.
