Sheree meddles in her son's love life as she warns Lola off Isaac in EastEnders

But why is she so against the idea of her son being in a relationship?

Determined for him to have a proper relationship, Kim promises to get Isaac a date, but after Whitney passes on the offer due to her situation with Kush, Kim turns to another prospective love match.

When his date arrives, Isaac is shocked that it's Lola. Things go well until a misunderstanding cuts the night short.

Back at home, Sheree is upset that Kim has been has set her son up and when Isaac returns home angry, Kim explains that Isaac got the wrong end of the stick. Explaining how she didn't pay Lola to date him, Isaac is left feeling foolish.

Tracking Lola down, Isaac confesses that he’d like to try again - unaware that an infuriated Sheree is watching on from across the Square.

In order to stop his plan to surprise Lola, Sheree demands that Isaac takes Patrick out for the day. At The Vic, Isaac sympathises with Patrick having to take medication, before hastily changing the subject.

When Sheree arrives, Patrick realises he was being babysat and tells Isaac to go see Lola instead. As Sheree explains to Issac that a serious girlfriend isn’t right for him, this only pushes him further away.

As Kim describes her new business idea, a matchmaking service called 'The Fox Catcher', Sheree intercepts Lola, demanding she leave Isaac alone. But when Lola refuses, Sheree ups the ante.

Upset that Lola isn't returning his calls, Patrick offers Isaac some advice, giving away that Sheree must have meddled.

Heading to the Salon, Isaac confronts Sheree, telling her that he's ready to tell people the truth now. Retaliating, she explains that everyone will run a mile as soon as they find out.

EastEnders continues Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One
