Will Terese give him the space he needs?

When Terese pulls together a working bee to bring the nursery out of rack and ruin, Toadie makes out he’s on board, but there’s definitely an element of discomfort for him. And he's further challenged to overhear Nell and Terese discuss Nell’s crush on JJ.
As Toadie finally has a proper talk with his daughter, he's surprisingly understanding and encourages Nell to not rush into anything.
Later, Toadie returns to the nursery, only to find agent Rhett there and after talking to him Terese has come up with an ingenious solution, Eirini Rising will take on the nursery as a community garden.
Feeling the control being pulled away from him, Toadie has a visceral reaction and declares it won’t happen.
Following his emotional outburst at the nursery, Toadie is filled with regret and guilt and as he struggles to understand where all of this has come from, Toadie asks Terese for patience.
When Terese has a heart-to- heart with Susan, she confides that Melanie also faced conflict with Toadie when they were first dating. And obviously the nursery, having been Sonya’s domain, is a real trigger for Toadie.
As Terese seeks Melanie’s perspective, Melanie offers that Sonya and Dee are part of the package deal for Toadie. However, the mention of Dee piques Terese’s curiosity and she’s rocked to realise that Melanie knew about Toadie’s crisis around all his ex-wives before she did.
As Toadie continues to have sessions with counsellor, Rhonda Del Rubio, Terese suggests a joint session, but he wants time to work through his head, on his own, first.
When Rhonda brings up his infidelity with Melanie, Toadie is confronted and posits that he and Terese never worked through it and cheating seems to be a pattern of behaviour for him.
Following Remi's advice, Terese decides to go and see Rhonda herself, but when she turns up, she’s shocked to discover that Toadie is already there, having gone back for another session.
Jumping to the conclusion that Terese deliberately went against his wishes for a joint session, Toadie lets fly as he’s not ready!
