When Tom says he’s looking for a new place, possibly away from the village, Belle feels insecure and later she's thrown to see a hint of chemistry between him and Dawn.
Pulling up to the Vets in his fancy new car, Tom unwittingly leaves Belle unimpressed when she spots him offering to take pregnant Dawn for a spin in it.
Later, in a bid to make peace, Dawn invites reluctant Belle to bring Tom along on a double date with herself and Billy. But tensions soon rise and as Belle makes to leave, she's followed by Tom who's soon called out on a vet call.
Preparing to leave with his vet bag, Tom is confronted by a scally who demands his car keys. Attempting to stand his ground, Tom is hit on the head by a second scally, and they kick him before stealing his car.
Finding him after the attack, Belle calls the police.
