Tracy is sacked after stealing cash from the till in Emmerdale

How will she survive now?

After pocketing some cash from the till, Tracy is ashamed at what she’s been forced to do in order to survive.

The next day, Tracy’s unnerved to hear that Eric intends to rake over the accounts in order to prepare the business for sale.

Later that day, Tracy’s wracked with guilt when Pollard beats himself up over the missing money whilst continuing to praise her for her support.

The following day, hit with a sudden wave of guilt, Tracy confesses to Vanessa about her stealing and is touched when she apologises about her ignorance to her financial issues and gives her an envelope of cash to replace Pollard’s missing money.

After replacing the missing money, Tracy gaslights Pollard into thinking he misplaced it, and her guilt surges when he insists on taking her out for lunch to thank her for her support.

During their lunch, a drunk and angry Vanessa rips into Tracy and tells Eric about her thievery. Devastated by the betrayal, Pollard fires Tracy on the spot as the quiet pub observes the spectacle.
