When Vinny opens up to Paddy about feeling lonely, Mandy asks Gabby to spend some time with him in order to cheer him up.
As Gabby and Vinny enjoy each other’s company in the Hide, Vinny misreads the situation and kisses Gabby but is mortified when it becomes clear that she doesn’t feel the same.
When Vinny apologises to Gabby, she lets slip about Mandy and Paddy’s involvement in their plans and Paddy feels guilty to see Vinny so humiliated and angry.
Later, Laurel gives Gabby some food for thought as she suggests that Gabby should break away from her usual type in men.
