 BRAND NEW DRAMA

TIP TOE

Sunday 31st May and Monday 1st June

9pm | Channel 4

Russell T Davies’ highly anticipated new five-part drama Tip Toe, launches this week on Channel 4, with Alan Cumming and David Morrissey starring as Leo and Clive, who have lived next door to each other in Manchester for almost 15 years. But just as life should be settling down, the world around them is growing more tense.

Words become weapons, opinions become radicalised, and gradually, two neighbours become deadly enemies in a tense, suburban thriller that challenges everything we consider to be safe.

Alan Cumming plays Leo, who's described as vivid, funny and dynamic, and the owner of a bar called Spit & Polish in Manchester’s Gay Village. Whilst David Morrissey plays Leo’s unsmiling and troubled next-door neighbour, Clive.

Tip Toe promises to be a story that speaks not just to the queer community but to the world today, populated with a cast of vibrant characters and underscored by Davies’ trademark wit and deft humour. It's described as an urgent tale, bringing a spotlight to bear on the prejudices which are creeping back into our lives.

CLARKSON'S FARM

Wednesday 3rd June

Prime Video

As Clarkson's Farm returns for its fifth series, Jeremy is stricken by a major health scare, leaving him under strict doctors' orders to take it easy. But rest isn't an option.

A new flock of Easy Care sheep arrives to help lighten the load; however, the pub's ongoing issues, its first festive season to navigate, and a government budget that has sent shockwaves through the UK farming community make slowing down impossible.

A visit to the UK's biggest agricultural expo inspires him to take the farm hi-tech, resulting in a baffled Kaleb taking his first journey abroad - a road trip to the Netherlands, where cutting-edge farms seal the deal, and the rise of the machines begins.

Back at Diddly Squat, fields are scanned with lasers and robot tractors take charge, as Clarkson's Farm shows what the future of farming could look like, if that future were run by an impatient 65-year-old and his antagonistic young farm manager.

In the climactic episodes, things turn dark as bad luck strikes from every direction, causing massive upset and tension in every way possible.

 BRAND NEW DRAMA

THE WITNESS

Thursday 4th June

Netflix

Netflix's latest drama, The Witness, follows the true experiences of Alex and André Hanscombe as they deal with the devastating impact of a brutal act of violence.

When Rachel Nickell was murdered on Wimbledon Common in 1992, André became a single parent overnight. Putting his own grief to one side, he made his son Alex, the only eyewitness to the attack, the centre of his world.

Navigating the unscrupulous media furore and the urgency of an increasingly desperate police investigation, his sole concern became the welfare of his traumatised son. This is the story of how a father and son moved through the aftermath of unimaginable tragedy, from darkness into light.
