Love Island might be over, but two popular dating shows are back!

This week's best telly includes the return of Adrian Dunbar's detective drama Ridley on ITV1, as well as new dramas In Flight, for Channel 4, starring Katherine Kelly, and Butterfly for Prime Video, starring Daniel Dae Kim.
And if you're mourning the end of Love Island, Celebs Go Dating and Love Is Blind UK return to fill that dating show gap in your telly watching.

RETURNING DRAMA
RIDLEY
Sunday 10th August at 8pm on ITV1

Adrian Dunbar returns to the title role in ITV1's hit detective drama Ridley, which this series sees the retired detective turned police consultant resumes his partnership with former protégée DI Carol Farman, played by Bronagh Waugh, who is now in charge of investigations.
In the first episode, Ridley starts to investigate when a jewellery heist turns violent and the thieves take off with their stolen loot.
After an interested party is killed in broad daylight, Ridley and Carol have a race against time to discover the identity of the criminal mastermind behind the whole operation. Will the team be able to bring them to justice before more blood is spilled?

Celebs Go Dating is back and on the hunt for love this year is Atomic Kitten's Kerry Katona, S Club's Jon Lee, Too Hot To Handle's Louis Russell, TV Personality Christine McGuinness, The Chase star Mark Labbett, Love Island's Olivia Hawkins, Made In Chelsea’s Sam Prince and Celebrity Big Brother's Donna Preston.
Guiding this year's celebs through their search for love once again are the show's expert trio made up of accredited therapist and relationship guru Anna Williamson, certified life coach and matchmaking pro Paul C. Brunson, and University professor and sexual communication specialist Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn. Plus, everyone’s favourite, Tom Read Wilson will be on hand once again, as Senior Client Coordinator and Celeb Confidante, to offer his signature charm and words of wisdom.
And, of course, no Celebs Go Dating would be complete without the one and only Rob Beckett with his razor-sharp commentary and iconic one-liners. He’s back again to hilariously commentate on all the dating faux pas and guide viewers through the series one laugh-out loud moment at a time.

IN FLIGHT

This week sees Katherine Kelly lead Channel 4's new crime thriller, In Flight, about a flight attendant whose life is turned upside down when she is blackmailed into drug smuggling after her son is imprisoned in Bulgaria for a murder he swears he did not commit.
Set against the fast-paced, high-pressure backdrop of international air travel, In Flight follows Katherine Kelly' character, Jo Conran's, relentless quest to protect her family while entangled in a dangerous criminal syndicate.
Jo is a single mum working as a flight attendant whose son is serving a fifteen-year sentence in a Bulgarian prison for a murder he swears he did not commit. When approached by a gang who know all about her son, Jo becomes ensnared in the murky underworld of corruption and hired killers.
She is forced to carry out their orders while desperately trying to find a way out. She turns to her ex, Dom, for help however, no matter how far Jo finds herself from her old life, her mission remains the same, to keep her son alive.

It's centered on David Jung, an enigmatic, highly unpredictable former US intelligence operative living in South Korea, whose life is blown to pieces when the consequences of an impossible decision from his past come back to haunt him.
He finds himself pursued by Rebecca, a deadly, sociopathic young agent assigned to kill him, and Caddis, the sinister spy organization she works for

LOVE IS BLIND UK

Emma Willis and Matt Willis are back to host the second series of Netflix's huge hit, Love Is Blind UK which sees a group of singles, who want to be loved for who they are, take a less-conventional approach to modern dating, by choosing someone to marry without ever meeting them!
Over several weeks, the newly engaged couples will move in together, plan their wedding and find out if their physical connection matches their strong emotional bond developed in the Pods.
When their wedding day arrives, will real-world realities and external factors push them apart, or will they marry the person they fell blindly in love with? Does looks, race or age really matter? Or is love really blind?
