Earlier this evening, the winners for this year's Edinburgh TV Awards were announced at the Edinburgh TV Festival at a ceremony hosted by Frank Skinner.

The writer, comedian, TV and radio presenter hosted the highly-coveted awards, now in their 17th year. The awards form one of the highlights of the TV Festival calendar, showcasing the outstanding talent, and incredible breadth of genres and creativity that broadcasters and production companies produce year after year.
