 31 MAY - 6 JUNE

As the Harris family prepare for Amanda’s memorial, they are shocked when Jane announces she won’t be attending. Still riddled with guilt over her poor relationship with her mother, and the way Amanda died, she believes she doesn’t deserve to be there.

It’s Sadie who gets her across the line, pointing out how much it meant to Amanda to have people make a fuss over her. When Jane shows up, Sadie’s words have also got her thinking, not just about her own guilt but how self-centered Amanda could be as well.

Giving an impassioned speech at the memorial, Jane finally allows herself to admit her anger at her mother as well as her sadness.

After this catharsis, Jane and the Harris family join Amanda's lawyer for the reading of her will who reveals that Amanda’s estate is to be liquidated and held in a trust for a scholarship for students studying fashion and beauty. Administered by Sadie Rodwell!

Meanwhile, Karl keeps working at his plan, making Darcy believe he’s still taking the supplements he is providing. Lulling him into a false sense of security, Karl uses the chance to probe Darcy on his feelings about Amanda’s death, feeling that something is ‘off’ in that particular direction. Covering his tracks for now, Darcy has no idea that Karl is on his case.

As Jane and her children grapple with the news that Sadie is the trustee of Amanda’s will, Sadie looks for advice from Darcy. Desperate to keep his theft hidden, Darcy convinces Sadie to keep control of the trust herself.

When Sadie tells Byron, Nicolette and Jane that she’s going to carry out Amanda’s wishes, Jane accepts her decision. But Byron and Nicolette can’t believe she would give away their Nanna’s money to strangers and conversations get heated.

Despite Byron working hard to come to an agreement, Sadie stands her ground, with Wendy and Andrew’s support. Feeling like Byron is talking down to her, Sadie blows up at him as the cracks in their relationship start to grow.

As Karl continues to pretend that he’s put his issues with Darcy in the past, Susan remains uneasy and although Darcy works to reassure, her suspicions clearly remain. Seeking a distraction, Susan heads over to see Wendy, admitting to her that while things have settled down with Darcy, it still feels unresolved. A feeling that only grows when she sees Karl maintain his ruse with Holly.

When Susan leaves the room, Karl admits to Holly that he’s only keeping the peace until he can prove his suspicions. His intrigue grows when Holly reveals that Amanda left Sadie in charge of her estate and that Darcy isn’t benefitting at all.

Under the guise of giving him some vegetables, Karl drops over to see Darcy and is surprised to find Sadie there, seeking advice about Amanda’s will.

When Sadie leaves, Darcy seems to accept that Amanda left him nothing. However, Karl isn’t convinced that Darcy is being honest and when he begins to air his questions about Amanda’s death with Susan and Jane, Susan shuts him down, mindful of upsetting Jane.

When Susan and Karl return home, Karl muses about Darcy’s motivations and Susan admits she’s finding it hard to read him right now.

The next day, Karl admits to Holly that he’s been researching Darcy’s former business partner, Dr Anthony Halsworth, and plans to give him a call.

Following her fight with Byron about Amanda’s will, Andrew comforts Sadie who admits she’s started to question their relationship.

Meanwhile, a fired-up Byron and Nicolette decide to contest the will and when Holly tells Sadie, she confronts them, furious, and breaks up with Byron. And whilst a contrite Byron tries to change her mind, Sadie remains adamant that their differences are too great. They’re done.

As Darcy works hard to keep a reserved Susan onside while they work, he’s shocked when a familiar face shows up… Dr Anthony Halsworth who reveals that Karl called and told him about Darcy’s health centre and demands a fifty percent stake in it, to atone for Darcy ruining his career.

Before leaving, he introduces himself to Susan, although Darcy covers that he’s a potential investor.

At home, Karl reveals to Holly that Anthony used to be in business with Darcy in a failed venture, but while Darcy made things sound amicable, Tess told him otherwise.

And when Susan arrives, revealing she met Darcy’s new investor Dr Halsworth, Karl’s stunned and updates Paul, admitting that he feels like something’s not right with Darcy, although he can’t work out what it is.

Paul advises him to keep Darcy onside as he’ll trip up eventually. Continuing his ruse, Karl’s suspicions of Darcy remain.
