When Maxine insists she wants to go out and let her hair down but savvy Lily worries about her sister.
As they head out Diane makes a faux-pas over Maxine’s make-up and Beau tries to reassure Maxine, realising that Lucas’s comment about her scar from Eric upset her.
Continuing to feel insecure about her appearance, Maxine shuts her sister Lily out and when Scott tries to break through to her, he fails. Lily is more forceful and as Maxine becomes increasingly distressed, they rally around her.
As Maxine gets an appointment for aesthetics for her scar, she clashes with Scott as he fails to understand her predicament.
However, when even Beau can't break through to her, he turns to Warren for advice. And having met with a medic, Maxine soon asks Beau on a date.
Ahead of his date, Scott gives Beau a pep talk on Maxine and Beau later tells her how he really feels.
