Andrew and Holly keep a big secret from Wendy as they grow closer in Neighbours

In search of answers about his biological family, Andrew embarks on an unlikely road trip to Sandy Point with Holly. As they arrive at the marina, Andrew encounters his father, Steven and sister Gretchen on Steven’s boat.

Incredibly moved to meet his long-lost son, Steven is instantly welcoming. Gretchen also softens, admitting that she gave Wendy a bum steer because she was worried about Steven’s health, as we learn that he's battling lung cancer. Although he's just found out he’s responding well to treatment. As Holly joins the gathering, the group connect.

Driving home, Andrew’s on such a high that Holly suggests they stop into a city bar for a drink and the pair enjoy each other’s company.

The next morning, Wendy rushes home for a job interview at the school and is thrown to learn about Holly’s involvement in Andrew meeting his father, and accuses Andrew of hypocrisy.

As Holly arrives, Andrew makes a split-second decision not to tell Wendy about the late-night drink, not wanting her to feel worse than she already does.

With things still tense between Andrew and Wendy, he tries to make amends before she heads off to her job interview at Erinsborough High.

Wendy vents to Jane, who gently suggests that Wendy might want to look at the bigger picture. Yes, Andrew could have handled things better, but ultimately, he’s found his father, and it’s worked out for the best. Isn’t that what Wendy wanted?

After mulling over this advice, Wendy absorbs Andrew’s apology for shutting her out and also makes amends for her behaviour. As she and Andrew start to repair their relationship, Wendy receives some exciting professional news.

Meanwhile, Holly and Andrew are determined to keep their trip to the V-Bar the previous evening a secret.

Andrew is supportive of a nervous Wendy over her first day teaching at Erinsborough High, and she feels great after her first day goes well.

Meanwhile, a parcel arrives for Andrew consisting of old photographs and other mementoes from his biological family. When Holly comes over to check on Andrew, they both end up going through the box together. And Holly is moved seeing Andrew go through such an emotional time.

So moved, she loses track of time and joins the ‘welcome’ barbecue late. And Max is further disappointed when she’s called in to work and she can’t spend time with Saskia. Leaving Holly feeling guilty for letting him down.
