Annalise's return sparks a power struggle at Lassiters in Neighbours

Does Paul have an ulterior motive?

Paul returns to Erinsborough with beloved former Ramsay Street resident Annalise Hartman, who intends to help Lassiters win The Bronze Bell with a Jewellery Expo. But as they both prepare their pitch to win the event, Krista feels undermined and on the backfoot.

Stressed with the amount of work there is to do, Annalise is slightly dismissive of Krista when she tries to help, and a supportive Leo encourages her to stand her ground.

After discovering that he lied about how Annalise came to Erinsborough, Krista confronts Paul, while also airing her criticism of Annalise. Only to afterwards realise that Annalise is close by and has heard everything.

Meanwhile, Terese is caught out when Paul discovers a Draft Contract of Sale for Power Road and he convinces her to accept a loan from him, knowing how much the venture means to her. But is Paul privately concerned about the financial impacts of bailing Terese out?

Lassiters is triumphant in poaching the International Jewellery Exhibition and although Krista and Annalise agree to head up separate projects, tensions continue to simmer and Annalise returns to Ramsay Street, roping in Karl to help fast-track permit approval for the

treasure hunt.

The next day, Karl delivers the disappointing news that it’s not looking good, which leaves Annalise dismayed at the prospect of losing the Expo deal.

When her bid with the council falls flat, tensions remain between Annalise and Krista, and a supportive Wendy sparks an idea in Krista.

After going to the Council, Krista is thrilled to reveal to Paul and Annalise that they approved her plan for the Jewellery Exhibition. Only, Annalise is annoyed. What happeend to staying in their lanes?

Suspecting there’s more at play than he’s told her,Terese tells Paul off for pitting Krista and Annalise against each other, and Paul reveals his true motives. He's eyeing Annalise for a manager role at Lassiters, so he can spend more time in New York. Shocked, Terese needs time to get her head around the news.
