Can Caleb and Ruby stop Kev from exposing them?

 15-21 AUGUST

After discovering that the B&B is in financial distress, Jimmy and Nicola pin their hopes on a new haulage deal. Unbeknownst to them, Ruby orchestrates a robbery of Jimmy's shipment to force him to sell the business, enlisting Kev to steal a van for the heist.

While the plan succeeds in destabilising Jimmy, Kev is furious to find the stolen loot is only nappies, and the situation turns when Ruby puts Kev in his place, revealing she possesses footage of him attacking Billy.

Later, Kev smashes Caleb’s laptop, destroying any evidence of his crimes.

At the "sten do", a drunk Kev stumbles over and apologises for putting Billy in the hospital, leaving Billy stunned by the revelation that Kev was his attacker and that Caleb and Ruby were complicit.

Kev warns Caleb and Ruby that he will expose them if he faces prison, and the tension peaks when Caleb refuses to hand over the fake passports to Billy until the wedding day, determined to ruin Joe’s big day.

Meanwhile, Lewis suggests that Nicola and Jimmy renew their vows, prompting her to reminisce about her wedding to Jimmy. And Nicola is delighted when Jimmy agrees to a vow renewal.

But as Nicola fantasises about Elliot’s university experience, Jimmy privately panics upon seeing the words 'mortgage arrears' on one of the letters he opens.

Struggling with financial pressure, Jimmy sells his haulage business to Caleb and Ruby, unaware that Kev, who robbed his delivery, is the cause of his downfall.

Emmerdale continues Monday to Friday at 8pm on ITV1 with first look episodes available from 7am on ITVX
