With words of wisdom from Nicolette, Byron tells Jane of his plan to leave Erinsborough.

Overwhelmed by the news, Jane pleads with him to delay. Seeing how pained his mother is, Byron decides he won’t go at all.

Believing her brother is making the wrong decision, Nicolette urges Byron to consider his own happiness too, leaving Byron with food for thought.

When it becomes clear Byron’s heart is not with his decision to stay in Erinsborough, some advice from Aaron makes Jane realise she owes her son space to find his happiness. She tells him he should go on his trip, and that she’ll accompany him and Trevor on the first leg.
