Byron, Nicolette and Jane rush to Vic's rescue after he collapses in Neighbours

Forced to confront her feelings for Vic, will Jane speak to Mike?

FOR WEEK COMMENCING 10TH JUNE

When Nicolette, Byron and Vic arrive in the Dandenongs ready for a lovely day out, Nicolette urges Vic not to push himself too hard.

Meanwhile, still torn about not joining them, Jane finally makes a snap decision to leave work early and arrives at the Dandenongs. Unsure which track her family have chosen for their hike, Jane picks one at random and hopes for the best.

Later, Byron and Nicolette escort a breathless Vic back to the carpark. Embarrassed that his body isn’t up to the hike, Vic brightens when he spots Jane’s car, realising she’s come after all.

But when Byron is unable to contact Jane, Vic worries at the idea of her being out in the labyrinth of trails on her own. As Byron and Nicolette head out to look for their mum, they firmly order Vic to wait at the carpark.

However, Vic disobeys their orders and heads off. As he stumbles through the forest, Vic begins to feel tired and breathless again. When he considers turning back, Vic catches sight of Jane’s sunhat caught in the brush beside the path. With his worry for Jane increasing, an exhausted Vic forces himself onwards, but soon it’s all too much.

Before long, Byron and Nicolette find Jane on one of the Dandenongs tracks and together they discover Vic lying on the ground, conscious but unwell.

In hospital they discover he’s going to be okay, but it’s Jane who’s thrown when she confesses to Terese that she felt a pull to care for Vic.

Later, when Sam sees him resting in Jane’s room, she becomes upset and urges Jane to speak to Mike. But while Jane enjoys lunch with Vic, Nicolette and Sam, she doesn’t notice her phone buzzing with a call from Mike.
