Can Taye keep his promise and look after Sadie once Byron is gone?

2-8 AUGUST
Byron leaving town calls for a farewell barbecue and as he mingles with friends and family, he takes a moment to warn Taye to take care of Sadie.
Sharing a tender farewell, Byron and Sadie only want the best for each other.
Unimpressed to learn that Sadie is on the dating app ‘Hotski’, he tests her to see how she’d react to him being on it himself. Only to be disappointed to find she’s unbothered.
When Taye finally spells out to Max how much he really likes Sadie, Max offers the solution, to tell her. Taking his advice, Taye shocks Sadie when he gives her an ultimatum. He wants a proper relationship… or nothing at all.
When Sadie takes his ultimatum about as a joke, Taye is crushed, but when Sadie realises he’s serious, they discuss it in the clear light of morning, with Sadie explaining she isn’t looking for anything exclusive.
Insisting they can stay casual, Taye's heart is clearly not in it. Suspecting as much, Sadie checks in with Taye who admits that he isn’t doing great but reiterates that he doesn’t want things to be awkward between them.
Seeing how hard Taye is taking things, Max checks in with Sadie and is discouraged to find she’s coping much better, telling him that she hates that Taye is hurt, but also defends that she hasn’t done anything wrong.
As they agree to be casual, given how hard Taye is taking things, Sadie wonders if maybe he wanted more all along. Unsure what to think, Sadie figures it’s best if give him a wide berth for now.
