Cara and Remi reconnect as a memory flash brings new hope in Neighbours

But is Remi's memory really back?

Following their tumultuous fight, Cara and Remi restore peace and find themselves in a better place.

When Remi suggests the family check out the jewellery expo together, the Varga-Murphy’s enjoy an easy day out and finally things seem to be on the up.

When Cara begins telling the story of how she proposed to Remi, Remi remembers it and chimes in. Both women are stunned. Is Remi’s memory returning?

Whilst Cara is buoyed by the possibility that Remi's memory has returned, Remi is overwhelmed, feeling the weight of Cara’s expectation. After talking it over with Karl, Remi commits to trying to jog her memory further.

However, Dex reminds Cara about a school assignment he made that reenacted her unique engagement proposal and Cara realises that Remi might be recalling the information from this occasion, rather than actually remembering her.

Paying Remi a visit to break the news, Cara can’t go through with it, until later, a jealous Nicolette spills the beans to Remi, who calmly confronts Cara about her not revealing that her memory was false.

Apologising, Cara admits she was just enjoying the moment and later, Remi tells Cara that she also enjoyed the moment and wants to remember Cara and what they had, and this in itself feels like progress.
