An optimistic JJ's hopes of his mums reuniting are dashed when he touches base with Remi, who carefully lets him down, honestly sharing their plans to begin distancing themselves further. Later, Cara and Remi look to the future, trying to balance the changing dynamic of their relationship’s new reality with what’s best for Dex and JJ. With the ideas of the newly proposed Ramsay Hills on the table, they revisit the idea of splitting their assets, with the sale of Number Thirty, could they afford two houses close to each other?

Caught up in planning for the future, there’s no time to dwell on mysterious flickers of memory Remi seems to be having, and it’s not until much later that Cara and Remi notice JJ hasn’t touched base with them for a few hours.

Starting to panic, they take to Ramsay Street to see if anyone else has crossed paths with JJ. Out on the street, they cross with Elle, who has noticed a piece of paper poking out of the bird box. She shows the ominous note to the women. Where is JJ?
