Cara, Andrew and Felix are shocked to learn that Greg is presumed dead in Neighbours

But has he faked his own death?

As Elle and Felix continue to find themselves in each other’s orbits, Cara detects the attraction between the pair. However, Felix is quick to deny his interest and Cara gleans from Elle that Felix is holding back out of loyalty to her.

It’s a welcome distraction for Cara who is still despondent over Greg’s sudden departure. Not wanting to be a barrier, she encourages Felix to explore things, leading Felix to make his move.

As Elle accepts, it seems a new romance is blossoming, and Cara and Andrew share in Felix’s anticipation for the date. But all three are rocked to the core when they learn that Greg’s car has exploded after going over a cliff, with Greg presumed dead. Cara, especially, is devastated by the shocking news.

Whilst the police seem it a tragic accident, Andrew and Felix can’t help but think it’s Linwell-related, and their suspicions are raised when Cara learns from her mother that Greg had taken out a hefty life insurance policy, leading the brothers to wonder if Greg could’ve faked his own death.

Knowing more than they let on about Greg’s situation, Andrew and Felix privately think this is a likely scenario and decide to head to the crash site to see if they can unearth anything.

Meanwhile, Elle is excited for her date with Felix, much to Paul’s dismay who doesn’t have a good feeling about the guy, given his checkered history. And Paul’s doubts are confirmed when she’s stood up.

Distracted with his family after the news of Greg’s death, Felix races to the V Bar to make amends, and Elle is understanding, and they agree to reschedule the date, only for Paul to face up to Felix with a classic Robinson warning. If he does anything to hurt his precious daughter, he’ll have him to answer to. As Felix laughs it off, Paul is firmly put in his place.

When Remi and Dex return to Ramsay Street to console a grieving Cara and JJ, Cara is grateful for the familial support and feels like they’re getting back on track as a family. However, a slip-up from Dex suggests that Deena, the woman who flirted with Remi at the Tram, has been spending time in Apollo Bay with them.

When confronted, Remi assures her that nothing is going on between her and Deena, but it’s clear Remi is open to the possibility of something happening.

Despite the challenges facing them, Cara and Remi decide that Remi and Dex should return to Apollo Bay.
