Cara crosses a line as Remi's return to work is denied in Neighbours

Can Remi and Cara hold their family together as everything falls apart?

Today is a big day for Remi, as she believes this check-up with her neurologist will allow her to return to work. While she navigates the turbulence of her personal life, Remi feels she needs the professional constant of being a doctor to lean on.

Unfortunately, she discovers that without her returned memory, the hospital won’t allow her to go back to work.

Seeing how devastated she is, Susan goes to Cara and asks her to let the boys know so they can be there for their mother.

Realising that doesn’t include her, while Cara wants nothing more than to be there for Remi, she sees it’s not her place anymore.

Finding Remi working at the Tram, Cara can see that she's not happy and aware that she's missing her job at the hospital, Cara’s determined to find a way to help her wife.

Later, Remi confronts Cara after hearing she tried to persuade her doctor into letting Remi work again, warning her how it’s not her place to get involved. And Cara is crushed to see Remi’s stopped wearing her wedding rings.

Soon, both women find Dex and JJ pushing and shoving each other, however in their efforts to prevent a fight breaking out, Cara and Remi argue amongst themselves as all the mounting tension the family have been faces brings out their worst.

With the whole family feeling like it's in chaos, Cara and Remi both become concerned that they can’t keep their family unit intact, especially with their relationship in dire straits.
