Chelsea discovers that Jeffrey is really Thomas' father in Neighbours

But will she be honest with Paul?

As Toadie and Terese rally around distressed Nell, Paul feels a little on the outer, which Chelsea can’t help subtly encouraging. And when a sick Thomas is rushed to hospital, it throws Paul and Chelsea together as a family unit and Terese can’t help feeling on the outer.

After Thomas’s distressing sudden illness, Chelsea and Paul anxiously wait to hear if their son will be okay. And whilst Terese’s top priority is to support Paul, she finds this difficult to do when she is sidelined.

Thomas’s recovery is a relief for everyone, however tensions only mount between Paul and Terese and while he sees her actions as proof that she cares for Paul’s wellbeing, he puts it down to jealousy. Terese is further conflicted when she sees Krista softening towards a regretful and repentant Chelsea.

Later, Paul and Chelsea reunite, grateful for the health of their son and when Paul counsels Chelsea to forgive herself, they share a charged moment until they're interrupted by Cara and Remi. But Chelsea’s hope is soaring and she confides in Remi, believing Paul must have feelings for her.

When Paul joins her to celebrate Nell’s charges being dropped, Terese is warmed, oblivious when he secretly sends a sweet message to Chelsea about Thomas.

Clearly he’s a man torn between two families, but things become even more complicated when Chelsea meets Jeffrey at his request. She’s shocked to learn he switched the paternity results and Jeffrey is Thomas’s father!

Having learnt the truth about Thomas’s paternity, Chelsea struggles with what to do next. While Jeffrey is offering to keep this a huge secret, for the right price, Chelsea wants to do what’s right for her son.

Determined to raise her son with the right moral compass, she turns down Jeffrey’s blackmail, intending to tell Paul the truth. But when she approaches Paul to do exactly that she has to come face to face with the situation. Both her life and that of her son will be a lot better with Paul in it. Will she be honest or do what’s right?
