Colton opens up to Susan as memories of his mum return in Neighbours

While Karl gets the sense something big is brewing at the council, Susan’s got the sense something’s brewing with Colton, as he keeps avoiding discussing what happened to Wendy.

When Susan tries to offer Colton support, he snaps at her and his day only gets worse when he spots Zac kissing Wes. Confused and hurt, Colton needs that support and apologises to Susan before opening up about what’s really been troubling him.

Colton finally admits how Wendy’s accident reminded him of his own mother’s tragic and unexpected passing, admitting how he works in aged care to try to help others, like he couldn’t do for his mum.

Realising the emotional dedication he puts into his job, helps Susan to understand why he pushed her so hard earlier. Could a new bond be forming?
