CORRIE SPOILERS Monday 17th - Friday 23rd June

Next week in Corrie, Gary ends up fighting for his life, Roy discovers some surprising news about his mother, Robert asks Michelle to marry him and Michael tries to impress the neighbours.

Gary ends up fighting for his life

After falling into Rick's trap


Sarah lies to Bethany as she heads off to the hotel to meet Adam, telling her that she's going to the Midlands on business. But as Rick appears on the street looking for Gary and Sarah, Bethany gets suspicious and takes a picture and shows it to Gary.


Fearing for Sarah’s safety, Gary urges Bethany to track Sarah down. As Gary sets off for the hotel in Worsley she's staying at, Gary worries that this is proof that Rick has her.



At the hotel, Sarah and Adam put the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door and head to bed but when Adam makes jokes about Gary, it plays on Sarah's guilt and she storms out of the hotel.


When Gary arrives looking for Sarah, he shows the bellboy a photo of her, only to be told that she was seen heading out followed by a tall bloke with dark hair.


As Sarah and Adam make up, Gary worries that the man who followed Sarah out of the hotel is Rick and calls him to accuses him of holding Sarah against her will. Seizing the opportunity, Rick gives Gary some location details and tells him if he ever wants to see Sarah again, to meet him there.


But when Gary finds himself in woodland looking at a shallow grave he ends up fighting for his live as he's overpowered by a much stronger, more prepared Rick. Could this be the end for Gary?


Meanwhile, Bethany’s horrified to realise that Adam and Sarah are seeing each other and tells Sarah she’s making a big mistake. And when Sarah plays down her final showdown with Gary, Adam looks into Gary's past.

 

Roy discovers some surprising news about his mother

As he finally decides to scatter Sylvia's ashes


Roy tells Wayne to leave it after he reveals that he's been doing some research into Sylvia’s ring. After Brian and Wayne realise that Roy has been behaving strangely ever since his trip to Portsmouth, he reveals the secret of the ring - that his mother had an affair.


After some wise words from Cathy, Roy has a change of heart and tells Brian and Wayne that he would be grateful for their help in researching his family. And it's not long before Wayne introduces Roy to Alice Parrott, whose father had an affair with Sylvia.


As Alice hands Roy a bundle of love letters, Roy resigns himself to the fact that his mother was obviously capable of love, but didn’t love him. As he sees Wayne out, Wayne thanks him for the kindness he and Hayley showed him as a child and promises to keep in touch.



Later, Roy reveals he’s off to Cumbria for a few days to scatter Sylvia’s ashes and visit Carla.

 

Robert asks Michelle to marry him

But can she trust him?


As Michelle confides in Ryan over how happy she is to be back together with Robert, Robert calls a meeting of the Connors and reveals that he’s planning a surprise engagement party for Michelle this evening.


As the Connors gather in the bistro, Robert waits outside for Michelle who arrives only to find her family hiding behind the bar. As they let out a half-hearted “surprise!”, Michelle’s bemused and a balloon is revealed with the words ‘Happy Engagement’.


The next day, Michelle meets Billy to talk wedding plans but when Robert doesn't turn up, despite promising he'll be there, Michelle discovers she's been lied to. So when Robert gets down on one knee, will Michelle accept his proposal?



Later at the bistro, Michelle angrily reveals that she knows Robert has been lying to her about his whereabouts. Thinking on his feet, Robert makes out he was at the travel agents planning a surprise honeymoon. But will Michelle buy it?

 

Michael tries to impress the neighbours

As the feud between Aggie and Claudia continues


Bent on revenge, Aggie, Michael and James switch on every power tool in their possession making a terrible din. In retaliation Claudia and Amy, armed with violins, create the most dreadful racket.


As the noise war continues, neither Aggie or Claudia back down but when they find Ed and Ken enjoying a drink together will they agree to bury the hatchet?


When Jack recognises James Bailey from the County youth team he asks him to sign his football and Steve also proudly reveals he knows James. Realising that Tim, Kevin and Steve are fans, Michael makes out he’s not only James’ brother, but his agent too.


After inviting them to an access all area tour, the lads return from their tour on a high but when James clocks Michael taking a fee from each of them, he’s furious.
