Daisy Ridley and James McAvoy amongst the 20 new famous names taking part in Celebrity Bake Off 2021

The new series of The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer starts this spring on Channel 4.


This spring, across five brand new episodes, 20 famous faces from the worlds of entertainment, sport, music and film, will roll up their sleeves and switch on their mixers to do their bit in the fight against cancer.


In the Bake Off tent Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will skilfully and meticulously judge each bake whilst host Matt Lucas is on hand, keeping time and spirits up.


The stars lining their baking tins in the Bake Off tent are actors Daisy Ridley, James McAvoy and Reece Shearsmith, musician Dizzee Rascal, singers Alexandra Burke, Anne-Marie, Jade Thirlwall and Nadine Coyle, author Philippa Perry, internet personality KSI, double Olympic Champion, Dame Kelly Holmes, Paralympian Ade Adepitan, presenters Anneka Rice, Nick Grimshaw and Stacey Dooley as well as comedians David Baddiel, John Bishop, Katherine Ryan, Rob Beckett and Tom Allen.

Each episode will see four celebrities battle it out over three challenges; the Signature, the Technical and the Showstopper, allowing them to show off their baking prowess in a bid to be awarded the coveted Star Baker apron.


The series is in aid of Stand Up To Cancer, a joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4 that brings the UK together to speed up progress in life-saving research. Since its launch in the UK in 2012, Stand Up To Cancer has raised over £62 million, funding 55 clinical trials and projects involving 11,000 cancer patients across the country.
