Danger lurks for Haz and Mackenzie as their wedding day arrives in Neighbours

Is Wade about to get his ultimate payback?

 14-20 SEPTEMBER

As Byron finishes filming the video messages for Haz and Mackenzie, as well as the community testimonials for Haz’s parents, it’s eventually revealed the video didn’t work and Haz’s parents aren’t coming to the wedding.

And it's left to Mackenzie to break the sad news to Haz.

Meanwhile, Andrew visits Felix in hospital ahead of his upcoming release and discovers his brother’s new-found faith. But he's oblivious to the fact Felix is also sharing his room with Wade Fernsby.

Later, whilst waking from a groggy sleep, Felix overhears snippets of a conversation Wade’s having on a burner phone and hears something about a wedding and getting payback. Is Wade up to something sinister?

As Felix raises the alarm with his brother about Wade’s phone call, Andrew’s efforts to interrogate Wade result in nothing and without any evidence, there’s nothing he can do. But just to be safe, he’ll ensure the wedding has a subtle police presence.

Not wanting to spoil their day, Andrew decides not to tell Haz and Mackenzie.

When the wedding day arrives, Mackenzie and Amira are thrilled to discover Haz’s parents have changed their mind and Haz has an emotional reunion with his parents, Reena and Sanjeev.

Before the Share House gang get ready for the big day, it's the end of an era as they have one final moment together in the house.

Despite the potential threat of Wade, the wedding goes off without a hitch and after a series of emotional goodbyes, Haz and Mackenzie leave Erinsborough for their new adventure in Paris.

After seeing a guy he knows from prison lurking around Haz’s car, Felix thinks the vehicle’s been tampered with, thanks to Wade. Relieved when Haz and Mackenzie leave in a rental, Felix warns Andrew about the potential hazard.

When Andrew and Felix go to inspect the car, they’re shocked to discover someone’s taken it for a drive. And the danger escalates when Andrew spots a trail of fluid where the car had been: it looks like the brakes were cut. Who’s driving the car and what danger are they in?

Andrew and Felix try to discover who has borrowed Haz’s car and call everyone they can. Before long, Cara reveals she loaned it to Terese and the police locate the car which Terese has crashed.

Recovering consciousness, she's taken to hospital and asks Paul to accompany her. But Toadie, desperate to see Terese at the hospital, is mortified to discover that she refuses to see him, but will see Paul, Hugo and Nell.

It seems she has completely cut Toadie out of her life.

When Remi checks over her, it seems Terese is lucky as she has escaped with only a few cuts and bruises. Meanwhile, Bowser is caught and confesses that Haz and Mackenzie will be safe.

Noting the degree of concern and guilt that Felix has shown over Terese, Remi wonders if he’s truly changed as a person. However, Cara is still suspicious.
