As Ronnie offers to handle their supplier meeting, Debbie prepares to leave and he gently reminds her to put on shoes.

At the hotel, Ronnie points out she’s still wearing her slippers and a confused Debbie stares at her feet and suggests it’s time they went home.

Later, Ronnie eyes up Idris’s car and explains to Carl that he’s thinking of stealing it for Fiona as he owes her for the missing gun.

In the Rovers, Carl hands Ronnie the key to Idris’s car having stolen it from his jacket. Will Ronnie go through with it?

Reporting his car as stolen, Idris admits that he can’t remember where he left his key.

Accusing Ronnie of stealing his car, Idris punches him to the floor and Carl implores Ronnie not to go looking for revenge as Debbie needs calm.

Later, as Ryan gets a manicure from Bethany, Debbie breezes in and it becomes clear she’s reliving her hairdressing past. And Maria returns to the salon to find Debbie giving Bethany a full eighties makeover!

Bethany plays along, but when Debbie picks up the scissors, Maria comes to her rescue.

As Debbie looks at the scissors in confusion, she rushes out. Finding Ronnie drinking in the hotel bar, Debbie gives him short shrift before suffering a meltdown.

Later in the bistro, Betsy knocks some cutlery off the table and as Lauren quickly goes to her aid, Debbie jokes that Betsy’s drunk, leaving her mortified.
