Fallon rages at Krista as she develops feelings for Leo in Neighbours

But will she act on her feelings?

ree

 22-28 FEBRUARY

With the air still tense between her and Leo, Krista, desperate to reconnect, decides to make a grand gesture in the hope of reminding Leo how much they mean to each other.

Fallon initially agrees to help, but secretly doesn’t bother to follow through. Despite the set-back, Krista pushes ahead, inviting Leo to a surprise dance in the Vineyard. Though put on the spot, Leo slowly allows himself to enjoy the romantic moment, and the pair tentatively get back on track.

As Fallon’s jealousy grows, Taye calls it how he sees it, that Fallon has feelings for Leo. She’s always resented her sister, and seeing them together burns as she’s still not over her ex. Despite Fallon protesting, it’s clear he’s on the money.

While Taye initially impresses with the deal he’s brokered to book a popular jazz crooner to perform at the Piano Bar, things go south when he realises he’s made an error, with the artist demanding a fee triple what he’d first thought!

Panicking and desperate not to lose his job, or his family’s approval, Taye asks Fallon to help him get the money from Krista. When Fallon refuses, firmly against asking her sister for

money, Taye gives a shocking ultimatum. Find a way or he’ll tell Krista everything.

Stunned and hurt, Fallon struggles to accept it as she thought they were friends. Taye assures her they are, but despite his profuse apologies, he’s not backing down, leaving Fallon with a dilemma.

Biting the bullet, Fallon asks Krista for a loan to cover her ‘credit card debt’, loathing herself and the situation Taye has put her in.

Later, she meets with Taye to transfer him the money, bluntly telling him he’s no better than all the other two-faced people in her life. As he goes into damage mode to save their friendship, Taye's fancy apology gesture at the Piano Bar placates Fallon, but as they talk, Taye becomes more concerned that Fallon’s emerging feelings for Leo are going to make things messy.

With Krista and Leo well-and-truly back in their love bubble, back at the apartment, they toast Krista’s romantic gesture at the vineyard with some afternoon delight. However, Krista’s delight rankles Fallon, who once again feels that her sister has escaped the consequences of her dubious actions.

Fallon’s acrimony reaches a crescendo when she discovers that Krista has not only borrowed without asking, but completely ruined, her special white summer dress. As she lashes out at her, Krista is left feeling confused and concerned.

When a caring Leo offers her support, Fallon softens and reveals to him that it's the dress' significance that bothered her as it was supposed to be her wedding dress. Until the guy (who she doesn't mention was Sebastian) broke her heart.

Full of sympathy, Leo waxes lyrical about Fallon and she gazes into his eyes, aware of the attraction she’s been denying.

Upon learning the story from Leo, Krista is apologetic to Fallon as she would never have borrowed the dress had she known its significance. But Fallon’s frustration towards Krista is at an all-time high, especially as she’s starting to manifest her own feelings for Leo.
