Filming begins on the sixth and final season of Emily in Paris

Time to bid adieu to Emily in Paris!

Netflix has confirmed that Emily in Paris will conclude with its upcoming sixth season, which began production today in Greece.

The series follows Emily, played by Lily Collins, an ambitious twenty-something marketing executive from Chicago, who unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris. Her new life is filled with intoxicating adventures and surprising challenges as she juggles work, friendships, and romance.

The show has been a huge global hit, inviting fans into Emily’s chic and fabulous life inspiring trends, memes, fashion, location visits and more. And Emily in Paris contributed to a boost in tourism to France, with French President Emmanuel Macron praising the show for enhancing the city's appeal.

Speaking about Emily in Paris coming to an end, creator Darren Star said "Making Emily in Paris with this extraordinary cast and crew has been the trip of a lifetime. As we embark on the final season, I am so grateful to Netflix, Paramount, and, most importantly, the fans who have taken this incredible journey with us."
