Fleur East to co-host Strictly It Takes Two with Janette Manrara

Fleur East replaces Rylan who after four years hosting the show, decided to step down from Strictly It Takes Two.

Fleur East will be joining Janette Manrara as the new co-host for Strictly It Takes Two this September on BBC Two.

Strictly fans will be able to see the pair presenting together in the first episode of the series, and they will host multiple shows on their own throughout the series, giving audiences the best behind-the-scenes exclusives and offering the latest cohort of contestants the best advice.

Speaking about taking on co-hosting duties for Strictly It Takes Two, Fleur said "I’m so excited to officially join the Strictly family! I had such an amazing time on the show last year and so cannot wait to be talking to the celebs each week on It Takes Two."

"Being a Strictly fan, I’m excited to get all the behind-the-scenes exclusives on the show. I know exactly what the next lot of celebs will be going through. It’s an incredibly fun experience, but it’s tough! Hopefully, I can offer them a bit of support and a friendly face along the way. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to get started!"

To which Eve Winstanley, Executive Producer for BBC Studios and Strictly It Takes Two added "Fleur is a brilliant addition to the Strictly It Takes Two family. She has been in the contestants' shoes, so can offer the best advice, tips and insight on what to expect. We can’t wait for audiences to see Janette and Fleur together, they’re a dynamic duo."

And Alex McLeod, Commissioning Editor for BBC Daytime said "Fleur was a fan favourite on Strictly Come Dancing, she rode the waves of the competition and got to the final, so the latest contestants are in safe hands with her to offer reassurance and even more fun and excitement to It Takes Two."
