Gavin Bowman's release causes shockwaves in Neighbours

But will he keep his distance?

 12-18 JULY

Byron is unhappy with Jane’s harsh temperament of late, but Aaron encourages him and his sister to try ease the burdens she’s been dealing with.

Nicolette suggests Jane gets back on the dating apps, telling her she’s in need of some love and attention after the last few harrowing months. And Nicolette is surprised when Jane takes her advice and organises a date quick smart. But Jane’s date fails miserably, and she can’t figure out what went wrong, much to Nicolette’s disappointment.

When Jane debriefs with Terese about her date, Terese asks to see a picture of this dud in case she ever comes across him. To her shock, it’s Gavin Bowman, the man who poisoned the wine at the Eirini Rising launch and kidnapped Holly!

Jane and Terese realise they must be the only ones aware of Bowman’s unfortunate release. Terese carries the news to their friends while Jane is unlucky enough to run into him again and despite knowing how dangerous he can be, she can’t help giving him a piece of her mind.

Holly is blissfully unaware as she prepares for Sadie’s 21st party, also making sure she gives Andrew a wide berth after they had their ‘moment’. But when she discovers that Bowman, a man who tried to kill her and probably still holds a grudge, is walking around free, her anxiety begins to spiral.

Although her family and Max try to reassure her, it’s only the solid police presence of Andrew who gives her the courage to face this.

While celebrating Cara’s graduation from the police academy, Cara and Remi learn the news and worry how Dex will feel, as a victim of Bowman’s poisoning, and Remi, having spent more time with Bowman than anyone, is privately more unsettled than she lets on.

High on her new police powers, Cara accosts Bowman and orders him to keep his distance, which only leaves Remi feeling even more nervous.

Neighbours continues Mondays to Thursdays on Prime Video
