Harold helps to breathe new life into Agnes’ manuscript in Neighbours

How will he react when she surprises him in Port Douglas?

After sending her manuscript to Harold, things are looking up for Agnes, as he passed it on to a publisher in Port Douglas who reaches out to show a keen interest in her work.

Their first phone call is a positive one, but comes with a requests for some revisions and it’ll be months of work.

However, Agnes is invigorated by the possibility and the request she visit Port Douglas to discuss it in person. Of course, the chance to see Harold in person is a nice little bonus too.

Max pitches the idea to Agnes of moving to Port Douglas for a few months, so she can work with the publisher of her new book and spend some more time with her friend Harold.

Agnes is tempted, but hesitant about how Harold might feel if she just lands on him like that. Helping her work through her doubts, Susan persuades her that Harold wouldn’t have kept up their friendship long-distance if he didn’t value it.

Her words are proved right when Agnes decides to surprise Harold by turning up on his doorstep and he gives her the warmest of welcomes.
