On the eve of the opening of Eirini Rising, Harold returns to Erinsborough and Terese and Toadie host a welcome dinner, reminding Harold how loved he is by the community.
The next morning, Harold moves into his studio apartment and as the opening gets underway, he’s struck by unexpected feelings of emotion.
After Susan and Toadie worry that Harold is grappling with having to face up to the next stage of his life, he later confesses a more sentimental reason for his melancholy. Being back among friends is reminding him of Madge.
