Heartstopper is based on the bestselling graphic novels from graphic novel author and illustrator Alice Oseman, who will return as writer and creator for seasons two and three.

Season one covered the first two volumes of the graphic novel, as we watched rugby-loving Nick and gentle Charlie’s friendship blossom into the most wholesome unexpected relationship, as they make snow angels and kiss in the rain.
Charlie, Nick and their circle of friends had to navigate the ever relatable journey of self-discovery and acceptance, supporting each other as they learn to find their most authentic selves.
