Jane helps to mend Nicolette's self-belief in Neighbours

Since their baby plans were harpooned by Krista, Nicolette has been reluctant to indulge in any baby talk. And when Jane tries to ask her about research on donors, Nicolette hands the baby book Krista gifted to her right back.

When they meet Sam and her mother, Rose, before their European voyage, it's clear that Nicolette has no interest in answering questions about her future baby plans.

When probed by Jane as to her sudden reluctance, Nicolette admits that her confidence has been shaken, and she doesn’t think she can be a single mother or raise a child alone.

Jane confides in Clint about the crisis of confidence Nicolette is experiencing, and they put their heads together, which leaves Jane with a sweet idea. With Isla’s help, Jane puts on a presentation for Nicolette, highlighting all the wonderful things that make her an excellent mother.

With Clint having been an excellent shoulder for Jane to lean on, sparks fly again between the pair. As Jane faces the prospect of losing her home, they're both thrilled to see what they can achieve when they work together.
