Jane pulls away from Clint as Nicolette questions his true motives in Neighbours

But has she got the wrong end of the stick?

Jane and Clint continue to fight their feelings for each other, with Addison now attuned to the chemistry between the pair. When Clint confesses his lingering feelings to Jane and invites her to spend the day with himself and Addison yet again, Addison catches the pair in a charged moment and lets her insecurities reign.

However, she’s not the only one who’s curious about the way things are developing as Nicolette becomes concerned that Clint is using Addison as a way to reconnect with Jane.

With Jane reluctant to believe this theory, Nicolette urges her mum to back off until she can be sure of his motives.

Spooked, Jane decides to keep her distance, and Clint’s left feeling confused and hurt when Jane tells him she thinks they should take a step back, citing Addison as the reason.

Determined to figure out the matter, Clint asks Nicolette, who tells him about her concerns. But he tells her how she’s got the wrong end of the stick, and instead of trying to use Addison to win Jane back like she thought, he wanted to pick Jane’s brain about whether or not he should be worried about Krista and Leo’s fostering plans.
