 19-25 JULY

Aaron drops in to check on Jane under the pretence of visiting the girls, and while he’s there, Sam receives some news that they try to hide.

However, Jane smells a rat and demands the truth, causing them to admit that Mike is engaged to Angela. Despite Jane pretending she’s fine, it’s clear she’s affected by the news as she puts away photos of her and Mike together.

Meanwhile, a regretful Leo tells Krista that he set up a ’spy-cam’ on Jane through Abigail’s tablet when he dropped her off that morning.

But when Krista volunteers to go to Jane’s and stop the recording, Terese also shows up after hearing Aaron’s worries and Jane realises the neighbours are checking up on her. Sensing Jane’s mood, Krista and Terese leave, and Krista doesn’t get a chance to unplug the tablet.

When Leo attempts to retrieve it later that night, Jane finds it first and is shocked to discover that he has been recording her every move. Incredulous, Jane demands answers from Leo, who is ultimately apologetic but stands by his actions to protect Abigail.

Meanwhile, when Taye’s phone keeps pinging, Byron snaps, assuming it’s Sadie. But when Max gives Byron a reality check, he’s left with an idea.

Nicolette, Krista and Aaron are critical of Leo’s actions, and although the footage doesn’t show anything controversial, it does show Jane packing away photos and acting out of sorts.

The group go to speak with Jane, but find her out of the house, leading them to become increasingly concerned for her welfare.

The following morning, Nicolette gets Jane to open up, and it comes to light that her erratic behaviour has come from a place of fear. She’s afraid of becoming like her mum and dying alone.

Neighbours continues Mondays to Thursdays on Prime Video
