Jayde Adams' debut stand-up special launches on Amazon in January

Serious Black Jumper will launch globally on Friday 3rd January on Amazon Prime.

The hour-long special sees the multi-award-winning comedian take a completely new direction, with no sequins, no glamour and no show-stopping musical numbers.

Reinventing herself as a ‘Successful Independent Woman Person’, Jayde is putting away (for now) her customary glitzy costumes and exploring what it means to be a feminist this century, inviting viewers to discover what it takes to be a real role model. All whilst wearing the feminist wardrobe staple attire, the Serious Black Jumper™.

Today's news arrives just as Jayde embarks on a debut nationwide tour of her celebrated five-star, sold-out Edinburgh Fringe show The Ballad of Kylie Jenner's Old Face until 26th April, including a nine-night run at London's Soho Theatre from 30th January.

Tickets for the tour are available here and Jayde will soon be seen hosting Channel 4's brand new, high-concept food show Crazy Delicious. More on that show here.

She recently graced our screens on Strictly: It Takes Two, alongside Fred Siriex in Channel 4's Snackmasters and alongside Kiri Pritchard-Mc-Lean and Dave Cribb in a Comedy Central special of their cult live musical comedy show Amusical.
