With Toadie disappointed that Nell went behind his back regarding JJ, she's defiant that she hasn't done anything wrong.
The next day, as Toadie and Nell finally sit down to talk things through, he reveals his fears about Sonya and history repeating itself. Seeing her father’s over-protectiveness in a new light, Nell reassures Toadie that she’s not going to make the same mistakes her mum did.
Meanwhile, JJ comes clean to his own family about his relationship with Nell and Dex is hurt. But it's the fact JJ kept this news from him that upsets Dex the most.
Struggling throughout Haz and Mackenzie's reception, it’s hard for Terese to be surrounded by love and happiness when her world has been decimated.
As she avoids Toadie like the plague, it all becomes too much for her when he constantly ends up in her orbit.
Later, when Terese is involved in a crash and is taken to hospital, she asks Paul to accompany her. But Toadie, desperate to see Terese at the hospital, is mortified to discover that she refuses to see him, but will see Paul, Hugo and Nell.
It seems she has completely cut Toadie out of her life.
