Karl fears his friendship with Harold is over after he hires Remi as his GP instead in Neighbours

But is Karl worrying over nothing?

Sensing Harold is avoiding making an appointment for a health check, Karl pops around Harold’s studio only to find he’s surreptitiously made alternative arrangements for his healthcare, by hiring Remi as his GP.

Hurt, Karl retreats to Susan and confesses that he understands why Harold would go behind his back, blaming his inaccurate dementia diagnosis months prior. But when he approaches Harold to explain he has no hard feelings, an upset Harold tries to explain himself.

It’s not that he doesn’t trust Karl’s abilities as a doctor, but that he doesn’t want to place the heavy burden of his healthcare on such a dear friend.

Released from his shame at misdiagnosing Harold, Karl assures Harold he’ll always be there for him and their friendship is mended and strengthened.
