Krista and Leo face a heartbreaking divide after a shocking confession in Neighbours

Could Nicolette’s bold gesture bring Leo the happiness he’s searching for?

Despite packed schedules, Zac and Krista continue to enjoy each other’s company, quickly becoming work husband-and-wife, and incentivising Krista to spend more time in the office than at home with Leo.

When Abby draws a family picture featuring a baby, Krista’s fears around pregnancy, and Leo’s desire to expand their family, come rushing to the surface.

An anxious Krista seeks counsel from Terese, who only confirms Krista’s worries. The longer she says nothing, the more hurt Leo will be.

After achieving some much- needed alone time, Leo broaches the baby topic, forcing Krista’s hand and she tells him she doesn’t want to be pregnant ever again.

Rocked by the news that Krista doesn’t want a baby, Leo seeks to understand her reasoning, and while she’s gentle, she’s also firm. She doesn’t want to conceive another child, and that’s not going to change.

Seeing Leo grapple with this revelation, Krista remains open to other ways of expanding their family. And Leo’s woes hit home for Nicolette, who has found herself yearning for another child.

Regretful, Leo wishes he’d been around during the pregnancy with Abby, and plays down his emotions when Krista witnesses Nicolette consoling him.

Despite her best efforts to remain neutral, Nicolette expresses Leo’s feelings to Krista, causing her to reconsider how much natural conception meant to Leo.

With little hope in the way of changing Krista’s mind, Leo is downcast when Nicolette arrives with a proposition, she can carry Leo’s baby.
