Intrigued by Nicolette’s surrogacy offer, Leo’s reluctance to give an outright no leaves Nicolette feeling hopeful. But when a nervous Leo goes to broach the topic with Krista, he’s swiftly reminded of her rocky relationship with Nicolette and decides to refuse the offer without even telling her.

As news of the offer breaks, Krista can sense Leo’s hesitation, feeling compelled to consider it as a feasible option, and after confiding in Terese, Krista realises the idea may not be so crazy.

Later, she and Leo decide it’s not a yes, but it is a maybe.

Torn between Nicolette’s offer to carry Leo’s baby and her surrogacy options, Krista receives counsel from Terese about the pros and cons. But she’s no closer to making a decision until she and Nicolette work together seamlessly to co-parent Abigail and Isla.
