Krista finally opens up to Leo about her reservations about having a baby in Neighbours

How will Leo take the news?

As Terese wonders why Krista hasn’t told Leo that she isn’t ready for another baby yet, she tells her that she's scared of letting Leo down, but Terese insists it’s a conversation she can’t put off.

At breaking point, Krista shares her true reservations with Leo, openly and honestly. Unsurprisingly supportive and understanding, Leo says he’ll be there for her when she's ready.

As Leo thanks Terese for supporting Krista, while it feels resolved for them, Krista is clearly still unsettled and when Terese checks in with her, she admits that she worries she may never be ready to have a child.

Terese encourages her that she doesn’t need to make a decision right away, and should focus on reconnecting with Leo and Abigail, advice that Krista gratefully accepts.

Meanwhile, Abby tells Krista and Leo that she’s frightened of Jane after an incident babysitting the night before. Respectful of her wishes, they hand babysitting duties to Terese.

When Krista checks in with Jane, she says she has no idea where Abby’s fear has stemmed from. While they put it down to jet lag sensitivity, something niggles away at Krista as this isn’t like Abby.

Later, Krista’s excited when Paul volunteers Lassiters Erinsborough to host the group’s Global Hotel Conference at the last minute and asks her to create a full program of events by the next day.

However, her enthusiasm wanes when Terese reminds her of how much work it will be and as Krista begins to doubt her ability to pull the event off, Terese steps in to help, grateful to be distracted from her sadness at needing to sell Power Road.

Dismissing Krista’s concerns about his daughter previously saying she feared Jane, Leo asks her to babysit Abigail. However, when Abigail accidentally knocks food onto the rug, Jane lashes out at her.

Later, a busy Leo and Krista need to ask Jane to babysit again, but when Leo sees Abigail acting out Jane’s punishment with her dolls, he’s thrown. When Abigail’s reluctant to go to Jane’s, and when Leo hears from Byron and Wendy about Jane’s short fuse lately, his concerns grow, and he decides to set up his tablet to secretly record Jane while she babysits...
