But how will she cope with setback after setback?
12-18 OCTOBER
Krista basks in the glow of positive progress as preparations for Boylesque begin to shape up and Paul offers his congratulations for her initiative to install a new piano bar in the hotel foyer.
However, this reprieve is cut short when Moira and Hilary launch a campaign to put a stop to the event. Gino and Leo reassure Krista that Moira is off base, but Paul begs to differ. Moira and Hilary are a part of the community he doesn’t want to alienate, and if the event costs him business it’ll be on Krista’s head.
With the help of Sam, Leo and a packet of disappearing ink pens, Aaron and Krista manage to shut down the petition to stop Boylesque.
The event is full steam ahead, which prompts Aaron to test the limits of his tear-away pants so nothing goes wrong when he’s performing. But when he gets called to an emergency
at The Waterhole, he forgets what he’s wearing and rushes off, only to make it halfway across the Complex before his pants rip, leaving him naked from the waist down.
Hilary is there to take a photo and lodge a complaint with police, with a promise to picket outside Boylesque. But Krista isn’t about to let this setback deter her from making Boylesque a triumph.
