Could she be right?
31 AUGUST - 6 SEPTEMBER
Throwing herself into work, Terese insists on assigning Harold, Susan and Karl’s tasks to herself, despite their encouragement to take time for herself.
Sensitive to the situation, the Kennedys continue to hold their tongues when Terese discards their work on Eirini Rising’s intergenerational fitness program, wanting to start from scratch.
Meanwhile, when offered a large stock of floral arrangements going cheap, Paul decides to gift them to Terese. Despite his sincere motives, Susan is suspicious of the gesture, but an unruffled Terese seeks out Paul to express her gratitude for his friendship.
Meanwhile, Paul fears Krista is spreading herself too thin by helping with the sale of Harold’s and advises her to take back her offer. However, he’s caught off-guard when Krista refuses, asserting that she and Paul are now equal managers.
Needing a second job, Sadie applies for a position at the Day Spa, and despite her being untrained in beauty therapies, Krista hires her and suggests Lassiters will pay for her addibonal training.
Whilst Sadie is thrilled, Paul is ropeable and the two lock horns over their new shared-power dynamic.
Turning to Terese for advice on how to handle Paul, Krista is surprised when she speaks of her ex so fondly.
After Krista tells Leo that she senses a spark still between Terese and Paul, it seems she’s got it all wrong when Terese chews Paul out for trying to quash his new co-owner’s instincts
But as always, confrontation is this former couple’s love language and the pair seem to back away from each other a little happier. Maybe Krista was right?
