Max finds himself in growing danger as he returns to Erinsborough in Neighbours

Can he trust Shane, Andrew and Holly to keep him safe?

ree

 8-14 MARCH

Holly is relieved when Shane arrives, just as worried as she is about Max’s disappearance. Seeing Andrew, dusty after a big night, Shane confronts him, accusing him of not caring about Max and his disappearance.

After Andrew puts him in his place, Shane admits to Jane that he's got a terrible feeling about his son's disappearance.

With Max back in town, he explains to Holly that he’s been with Carter the whole time he was missing, staying there in exchange for learning where Sadie was, until he got the chance to escape.

However, the only reason he’s back in Erinsborough is to collect his passport so he can take the first flight out of the country as it's the only way he can keep everyone safe.

Keen to stay out of the public eye, Max recruits Holly; first to get his passport and then, when Shane beats her to it, to sneak into the Penthouse, correctly suspecting his dad has left the document with Paul for safekeeping.

After narrowly avoiding being caught, Holly gives Max his passport, but when she overhears Shane’s distress about his missing son, she can’t keep quiet anymore.

Confronting Max, Shane, Andrew and Holly argue that they need him to trust them, but Max is worried about the danger they're now in. And Paul agrees that Max can stay at the hotel as it’s the safest place for him.

Feeling helpless and like a sitting duck, Max lashes out at Holly although Roxy defends her. But as Max and Holly make-up, Roxy gets a text from Lachie asking to catch up and she happily replies, having no idea of the threat she’s bringing to Max’s doorstep.
