Melanie helps Jane realise she was wrong about Vic in Neighbours

But is he reallly a changed man?

Nicolette and Byron decide to accept Vic’s offer of money, but not in exchange for forgiveness.

Meanwhile, Jane is heartsore as she struggles with selling Mike’s motorbike. The final act in their relationship. Softening towards Vic, Jane urges Nicolette not to hold on too tightly to her anger at him.

Meeting with Byron and Nicolette, Vic accepts his kids’ stance, and pledges to transfer the money straight away. And Byron and Nicolette are relieved until Vic reveals he is searching for a business near Melbourne, so he can leave the door open to a future relationship should they change their minds.

Post-osteoporosis check-up, Melanie crosses with Vic who’s volunteering at the hospital to pay forward the kindness someone showed him when he was going through his treatment.

When Vic asks her to keep the information to herself, she's pained to see how harshly his children are treating him and tells him she thinks he's a changed man. And a good man.

However, she's thrown when Vic hints that he still has feelings for her, despite the un-resolved sexual tension between them being undeniable.

Later, Jane is annoyed to discover that the person who bought Mike’s motorbike has relisted it for sale for more than they paid her. But when she learns that person was Vic, she’s furious and confronts him, vowing to never trust a word that comes from his mouth again.

Meanwhile Vic is genuinely contrite, having bought the bike anonymously to help ease the burden of what he knew was a painful task for Jane. After admitting to Melanie that he feels partly responsible for Jane and Mike’s break up, she pays Jane a visit to explain Vic’s truth.

Appealing to Jane’s sense of fairness, Melanie urges her to give Vic another chance. To her credit, Jane listens and when Vic reveals his guilt, she sets him straight - rather than being

responsible, Vic actually did Jane and Mike a favour, pushing her to do what she needed to do.

With a weight off both their shoulders, Jane and Vic reconcile. But their new relaxed vibe puts Byron on edge.
